Our Mission Statement: To help people identify and overcome barriers to employment.
We are a United Way agency that provides workforce development, general education, counseling, case management, and job readiness services to the multi-faceted, and in many cases indigent, populations that we serve. In addition to the above activities, our agency offers a variety of employment related support services such as enrichment classes including GED exam preparation and American Sign Language for persons who are deaf or hearing-impaired. We aim at elevating low-income workers to livable wages, self-sufficiency and a better quality of life. Additionally, we provide adult outpatient substance abuse treatment and aftercare, and HIV/STD/HepC testing, risk reduction counseling, and medical referrals.
