https://www.ydc.org/The Youth Development Center's mission is to Inspire, Equip and Guide Urban Youth to Live! This mission is accomplished by providing an intensive after school remediation program for elementary students in grades 1 through 6 in Houston's Fifth Ward, a very low socio-economic area. Through technology-based instruction under the supervision of degreed teachers, YDC's students improve their literacy and math skills to become more successful students. This program is provided free of charge to our students.
