Jungle Book Gala Volunteer Opportunities (YPG Gala)
Please join members of the Jungle Book Gala committee to prepare for the 2017 Gala. Below lists the shifts and descriptions of activities. Volunteers are required to attend training on September 18th from 6:00-7:30pm. Please be sure to sign up for the training as well as your shift.
- Check In/ Check Out
- Shift: 7:00 to 1:00AM
- Volunteers will assist with the following tasks at the registration desk:
- Check in
- Assist with silent auction bidding set up
- Pass out programs
- Answer any event questions from guests
- Provide guests with silent auction instructions.
- Volunteers will assist with the following for check out
- Hand out swag bags and evening snack.
- Assist With Clean Up and Tear Down
- Silent Auction
- Shift: 7:00 to midnight
- Monitor Auction Items (2 Volunteer per Table)
- Encourage Silent Auction Item Purchases
- Package Items After Silent Auction Closes
- Assist Winners With Packaging Items
- Assist With Clean Up and Tear Down
- Red Carpet/ On Call Volunteer
- Pick Up Red Carpet From Vendor
- Drop Off Red Carpet at The Dunlavy by 3:00PM
- On Call From 3:00PM to 5:00PM
- Pick Up Red Carpet at The Dunlavy at 1:00AM
- Return Red Carpet To Vendor by 9:00AM on Monday, September 25th
