To help people identify and overcome barriers to employment, with a vision To be the premier agency providing services for people with barriers.
Core Literacy Programs
We are the only agency in Houston that provides case managed, employment services, adult basic literacy training, and computer training to support the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)) community. We also provide core literacy programs for hearing adults as well.
We offer self-paced basic literacy classes that are supported by an educational specialist.

"I started using drugs and alcohol to cope with feelings of guilt, shame, and depression when I was 18 years old. Little did I know that this would be an 11 year drug addiction that would end up landing me in jail. CRR helped me break the barrier of addiction and operate in society as I needed to. I was taught skills like accountability and responsibility. CRR has continued to support me as I continue my education by awarding me The Fred Wiener Memorial Scholarship for the last two semester.
